FDS Group Gears up For Growth

Leading fire engineering consultancy and contracting firm, the FDS Group, has expanded their staff to prepare for anticipated growth this year, creating a total of 10 new posts across the company.

The company saw a massive surge in enquiries in 2010 as its reputation for innovative fire engineering solutions and fire safety systems continues to grow. The increased staff numbers and expertise will ensure that the company has the capacity to grow significantly over the coming year, taking on new projects across its wide range of sector specialisms whilst continuing to build on its enviable high standards of customer service and satisfaction.

Comments managing director, Andy Riley: “We have expanded our contracting team to ensure that all aspects of delivering a comprehensive installation service are fulfilled. Meanwhile, the Consultancy division has seen a number of new appointments from management level to Graduate Trainee, enabling us to continue to provide the highest level of consultancy advice and design. Our philosophy is that people are our greatest asset and these new appointments reflect that, bringing on board the established expertise of experienced professionals combined with talented youngsters that will train with us and have fantastic career opportunities as we continue to grow.”

On the contracting team a new Senior Contracts Manager, Purchasing and Logistics Manager and Project Engineer have been appointed, whilst the FDS Consult team has seen the addition of a Graduate Engineer. The administration and finance divisions have also been expanded including the appointment of a new Finance Manager.

The new appointments have taken place over a period of 6 months and all employees are in place and fully trained in time for the year ahead, when recently secured projects commence.
