FDS Contracting gains LPS 1014 Certification
FDS Contracting has become the first SCA IFC SDI 19 credited smoke company to achieve LPS 1014 certification and is continuing to lead the way in the compliance of smoke control industry regulations.
Why does the LPS 1014 matter to me?
The LPS 1014 is a standard assessed by the LPCB (Loss Prevention Certification Board) to measure a company’s capability in designing, installing, commissioning and servicing fire detection and alarm systems.
By enlisting the services of a firm who has been LPCB assessed and achieved the LPS 1014 certification, you are able to gain reassurance and peace of mind that the system being installed is adhering to stringent regulations and codes of practices which have been specified.
Control Systems
There are many reasons as to why the certification matters, however, one of the main benefits will be the company’s products’ ability to bypass standards which require for two separate fire alarm and smoke ventilation system and incorporating them into a single panel.
FDS Contracting’s solution to this is the FDS FireSmart Control Panel.
